September 2007
Adam Younger Design is very pleased to announce that Elco Hellas Marine of Greece will be going into production of their new 7.2M RIB hull design.
The design is an advanced monohull design, which has been developed by Adam Younger Design to give excellent handling, performance and efficiency. The hull is designed with a double chine effect – which allows the craft to have the handling characteristics of a relatively narrow beam craft at speed but having a fuller beam at rest and in manoeuvring. The outer chine surface being at a steeper angle to the main planning surface, with the two surfaces merging into the same surface as the hull angles increase towards the bow. This also gives extra buoyancy and importantly improved interior dimensions.
The design has been particularly developed for the leisure market and gives an excellent combination of speed, handling in various conditions, load carrying and also comfort of ride.
Many of the design features of the hull have been developed by Adam Younger Design on existing craft. The bow sections originate from a particularly successful raceboat that was known for great handling and have then been further modified for the leisure market. Adam Younger Design firmly believes that racing does improve the breed and this is another example of where work we have carried in development of race boats has carried over into the leisure market.

More racing success - Laurent and Olivier win all three heats of the latest French Championship event to now lead the Championship. We were very fortunate to have the chance to visit Technohull in Greece and sample the latest 999 design - in various conditions. The boats handled superbly and really good to see the great build quality. Had a fantastic time exploring - but it was not all play! here in the office with Takis discussing new designs. Many thanks to our friends at Technohull.

June 2006
Many congratulations to Laurent Avril and Olivier Petit for winning the recent round of the French championships in their K4 Plus / Adam Younger Design RIB. A great result and very much deserved for two super competitors.

May 2006
Will and Iain Nurse performed very well in 'Black Thunder' following her recent re-work by K4+. After leading most of the second race in Guernsey gearbox problems prevented a first win for the team. Amazing that this boat first designed by us in 1996 is still the boat to beat when it gets choppy - imagine what we could do with a new design - which is still a possibility for 2007 if customer interest continues! The new boat would have all of the present boats rough water abilities but with improved calm weather speed, lighter weight and general improvements all round.
Further testing and more prop work will release more speed from C-24. Results will follow!

April 2006
Good luck and best of fortune for teams racing our designs in 2006 and all our equipment customers.
Of particular interest we have just finished re-working our old 3C Monohull. She has major profiling carried out to the rear step area based on work we have carried out over recent years. This boat maybe one of the older in the fleet having been built in 1996 / 97 but is one of the most successful ever with two National Championship victories and many race wins.

Also watch out for our Technohull RIB designs racing in Greece and Laurent & Olivier going for success in the French National Championships.
